It may be crazy that Black Sabbath can deliver one of the greatest metal album of all time, but it's absolutely insane that Black Sabbath here have released the second greatest metal album of all time.

Probably one of the evilest albums in existence. From the spooked out riffs to the subject matter to one of the scariest metal songs of all time, ("Black Sabbath") this album is darkness incarnate, while still being accessible and entertaining.

But if you want something completely unique, captivating, otherworldly and incredibly visceral, then this album is a must listen. Anna von Hausswolff has quickly become one of the most interesting artists in goth rock.

Even though for some the subject matter can be extremely "nerdy", the music displayed here, even though it's attached to the hip with the Mega Man games, is really unique and on it's own. It's a fantastic nerd-rock album that is surprisingly noisy, loud, abrasive, genre bending and all the more important: Fun as hell.

Lest Favorite: Funeral for a Son

It's good...but not great.

What I would consider the first 'big' release the band has put out, this album (while there are issues) delivers on what the band promised with their EP and Soundtrack releases with a splash more creativity, dash more versatility and just a lot more experimentation to keep Anamanaguchi's sound have a lot more bite to it...even if the album is kneecapped only slightly because of this.

While not the greatest Alice Cooper record ever made, and it is stuffed with filler, it's still not awful. There are some moments where the new wave-y sound is quite suited on Mr Cooper, while other times it sticks as well as a ball on a ceiling.

Probably the last great album that Alice Cooper put out, and this time it's around the concept of Alice Cooper literally being in the loony bin, and seeing everything from a new perspective from making insanity a joke to the joke being about him. And it makes for some damn emotional and damn entertaining music.

A damn solid rock and roll boogie woogie concept albums that seems to come from the darkest alleyways created with the strangest of strangers, straight from the brain of the king of shock rock. It's pretty damn good.

Uncompromisingly dark, heavy and hugely dense industrial metal that shakes the listener to pay attention and slaps them if they aren't. But that's about it. And after all the moody destruction is over and done, there isn't a lot here. But, for the moment you click with the madness, it's glorious.
