Alright fine I'm going to listen to this
Ok this is a strong opener. What the fuck.
Yeah I don't have much to say about brutal. It's a good opener, but what the hell... i heard a billie eilish impersonation.
Yeah, this is like how to create a solid generic pop album and not sound completely soulless. I'm actually happy that rodrigo seemed to enlist the right people to not butcher a bunch of mess, and I think she has potential to create something better.
I am gonna admit that I am bored tho ... read more
Idk if this is country or indie folk or not, but I proudly support this guy and you should too
Hot off the heels of their newest single "icarus" from the hyped single "icarus", elitimesfour as with purpose manages to release dream pop and shoegaze songs that encapsulate the feeling of moving but not moving at the same time!
With this newest single "face the space"
Famed AOTY user elitimesfour has broken grounds lately. Their style of electronic music, mashed with electronic music and even more electronic music, has pushed boundaries that no AOTY musician has even grown to. Beginning with the dark ambient and noise project L.F.F., their debut project under the elitimesfour alias "t;he_si..gna_l", released with the famed artist collective and netlabel Insomnia Café, shook up the indie music scene and is now one of the highest-rated ... read more

Damn, I liked this way better when they were a band and not the solo project of Lennon.
It's a really pretty post-industrial-like album. It's really pretty. It has even some heavy handed themes in it. It just slogs too much, even for a band like Low.
And I like drone music.
alright let's do it
one second in and this sounds like slightly better than your average pop rock release, or even hard rock release
im fuckin bored
JESUS FUCK SHUT UP RIVERS
at this point in the review, I'm starting to think about like how harsh I should be in reviews. And I've decided that I
also, damn... all the good ones is so fuckin bland and boring.
ok finally, something i can get behind
oh.... well i can pass the straightforward references in the end of the game... but damn. this ... read more
I revisited this song once I saw the music video and... there's something kinda lifeless and desaturated from it that their performance of it at the BRIT Awards brings back.
It's honestly not a bad song. It's p goof. The lyrics are generic, but there is some effort put into them. The instrumentation and production is clean and atmospheric. It's just a very safe and not risky endeavor from a band who doesn't deserve to stay in the shadow of smth like "Clocks"... which is a far ... read more
I'd actually love to see Malneezy tackle an M83 Hurry Up, We're Dreaming. sort of style
Ok back to Squid
19 hours later.... I witnessed Anthony Fantano and chat going BRUTAL on Alky Pink. Hearing this compared to other songs, he has a point. But at the same time, I dunno.
It's a solid song. But yeah, listening back... it really is interesting to hear this being played next to a Danny Brown feature, a weak yet average pop rock release... and now an Insocaf artist who collab'd with two other artists (one also being Insocaf)
It also makes me wonder about this song. Like it has an ... read more
