Ahh, my 200th review on this lovely site.
First a confession of guilt: yes, I listened to the leaks.
I can say hand on heart that this album gets better with each listen. It's still Lana. It's still the same woman singing about amorous misalliances. But this time the lyrics are dressed in slightly different instrumentation. One that, to be honest, I sometimes missed in her work.
For example, the refrain of "White Dress" is downright anti-Lana.

Genesis Owusu debut?
real shit
This is my first contact with this band so I completely didn't know what to expect.
When I first heard the vocals I said to myself "Gee, I'm not gonna like this. No way".

Ahhh Mrs Larsson
This album is a bit too common. In the age of the disco revival you need to do something distinctive to be on the tongues for a long time. However, my first thought after first listening was that I don't really remember any song from this album. Even though it is a pop album that should be filled with singles.

It's nice to listen to it. Once.
It will be the only Polish album this year, which I will treat as an international premiere
C'mon it's her first big album. And it isn't a flop. So just let her do her thing, find her true style and then we will see if she's capable.
It's already better that some of the industry planted artists making the same RnB songs all the time.
This is her most mature album to date. Previously stripped-down ballads to which we cry into our pillows have been transformed into little works of art rich in new instruments.
The only constant is, as always, Julien's phenomenal voice.
It's one of those voices that pierces you straight to the bone and then radiates through your whole body. They simply do not let you forget about themselves.
Is this the material for the album of the year?
I think not.
Is it material for the best Julien ... read more
It's like we thought they were robots but when they tried to show us extreme emotions we simply forgot that they were humans after all.
