The Velvet Underground - The Velvet Underground

It is timeless.

and relevant.

and it can make people cry and smile.

Miles Davis - In a Silent Way

My favorite thing Miles Davis has ever done. Ahead of its time, obviously, but this is basically Future Days - CAN but 5 years earlier.

and calmer

and so soothing.

(EDIT: near) perfection

Black Country, New Road - For the first time

Not discrediting their second album (which is still quite great all the way through), but "for the first time" is not only one of the best debut albums of the past few years, but also probably the best album of this decade in general so far

it is certainly the second-best slint tribute
