Felt like it could have been much better. Was highly anticipated for this and really like the velvet/dark tones of this EP but overall it was underwhelming.
Expecting more of a punch and more risks.
A recycled ITZY. title track is an abomination. Last track is the only redeemable one but it's literally an ITZY track lol
Two word: LUSH & groovy
Key tracks: Spotilight, What's Your Pleasure, Adore You, The Kill, Remember Where You Are
Why are they ALWAYS so mediocre and boring?
The only track worth repeating is "Pretty". Every other track sounds like every other track they ever done. Mess
i think this is her best EP so far. I love the sad songs on this one but also the trippy ones. every song is really enjoyable and unique
Every track on this album is an absolute banger. Though some songs are filler, the production and bridges make up for it. "Alice" did THAT.
"Sour Candy" was a little underwhelming and not single material but it's nice to see BLACKPINK back.
Also that beat on "911" whew chile. I also loved the Chromatica interludes a lot, the violins and atmosphere they produce are indeed very futuristic yet soothing.
Best tracks: LA Money, Final Fantasy, Worst Behaviour, King of the Castle & Find Me
I just really wished there was a slightly less autotune as it was quite unbearable on some tracks especially on "visions".
Anyways finally we have "party 4 u", i really miss the original 2nd verse but this one's good too.
Overall a really solid album but I wish it was more polished like 'Charli' was as I don't like some fo the messy muddled production takes on this record.
Has one of the best songs of 2019 aka My Man.
Favorites: My Man, Damn, Black Coffee, Unlovable, The Subway Song
Such a fantastic song incorporating disco and synth and the outro is just amazing!
The first and last song are fantastic...the 3 in between however...yikes
I'm sorry but this song was incredibly boring and mediocre but as usual, Kelly's vocals were gorgeous.
Best tracks: XS, STFU!, Comme des Garcon, Paradisin, Love Me 4 Me, Fuck This World, Tokyo Love Hotel
Such a cohesive project with some really nice tunes and instrumentals.
Best tracks: Movin, Mad At Me,Chocolate, Crazy, Protection
One of the most intoxicating, memorable and inventive offerings in the last few years. Definitely one of Dua's top 3 strongest songs.
It's an absolute shame that Dua Lipa's version was turned into this whole mess of a song. Dua's version is a thousand times better and provides an entirely different atmosphere.
The pre-chorus is perfecto but the rest of the song falls flat. Nice instrumentals though
