This is his best project. I don't care what anyone says about this project, is incredible.
This album brings a more intricate songwriting, a really improved sound with even more complexity added to it, his voice sounding better, the tracks having a more polished feel and the whole album feeling really more cohesive in general is a really big improvement from his previous work. Amazing, amazing album.
Highlights: Overgrown, Retrograde, DLM, Voyeur (my favorite), Our Love Comes Back.
I listened to the extended version, so it's based on that.
Its minimal finish, his voice sounding lavish, the melodies are intricate but work in a simplistic harmony that feels so easy to follow, the cohesion of this album with not many lyrics on it, making it easy to identify with, makes this one of the most essential electronic albums from the last decade and an amazing debut for a really essential electronic artist on this time.

This album feels like a fresh debut, a raw and hard-hitting debut that is mercilessly throwing bars at you without you blocking them because they're really good. Idk about that explanation, but yeah.
With the good production, the good flows and the good consistency of this album, is easy to say that they would be onto something bigger from here, but really solid start!
Bad thing I didn't come back to this album at all after those two listens fot analysis, not my cup of tea tbh.

What happens when you mix one of the best rappers to live with one of the best hip hop producers to live? This gem. This little, powerful, amazing gem of hip hop.
This album got some of the most memorable bars from this decade, Pusha's flow is incredible on here, with amazing lyricism and godlike production. Al of these elements sum up to one of the most full albums for 24 minutes, this is amazing.
Highlights: If You Know You Know, The Games We Play, Come Back Baby, SANTERIA, Infrarred.
I know how influential this album was, and whatever... Is just that the second half doesn't do anything to maintain it's balance, and feels rather unfinished. Is a shame, because I really like this first half, and if it would maintain like that, this easily would be a 95+. But yo, this album got his most significant emblems ever, his most amazing production and the sound of hip hop music to come from 2010. The cultural shock is undeniable here.

I want this ye back, he's looking so focused in doing quality music, with a lot of ideas flowing like they got no end to crash on, and his whole rap game here is top of the notch, I really like this album, and for me, is his best easily.
Highlights: Touch The Sky, Crack Music, Drive Slow, We Major, Diamonds From Sierra Leone.
This is a little beast, and it just being under 25 minutes, it's more complete than some of his other efforts.
This includes a ghostly production that haunts the whole album and gives it a character (but is kanye, so the production is something else), a lot of wild ideas crafted really well, the amazing instrumentals that he pulled in these 7 tracks is unreal and is really driving and immersive for the short time it goes on. And Kid Cudi has made his best work on this little thing, ... read more
Now this is an immersive album, with a hilarious way of driving a concept, with a not-so-inconsistent production, the flow just gets better, the man just gets wilder, the production just gets fuller yet not so thrown into the mix like his previous album and I really love it.
And the concept is some weird shit, but really well made. So this man is a thot, and he immerses you into that lifestyle (being recognized, picking up guys and such), but he then transitions into a... thug. Being a thug, ... read more
This album shows how creative hip hop can be instrumental/lyrical-wise. With his catchy lyrics, his solid flows, multiphasic voice and really interesting production choices that brings a lot of flavor for this instrumental that mixes industrial with Soundcloud rapper style, brings one of the most fun and entertaining hip hop albums I've listened from these last years.
In short, this is how i would see a man having fun with his music.

I'm not the biggest Run The Jewels' fan, but I can appreciate a good album when I hear it, an this is their best album from them, in my opinion. The upgraded political/ethical driven lyrics from RTJ3, the original and hard beats that I would see on RTJ2 and their flows/chemistry stronger than ever makes this album, for me, the best hip hop album of this year. Hope to see what they got until their 5th album.
Highlights: ooh la la, out of site, holy calamafuck, never look back, pulling the pin.
Bruh, I never thought I would enjoy Math Rock like I enjoyed this one, they blew my mind.
So raw, so well made, so fun and intricate I would listen to this 10 times in a row and I would be collapsing on the floor, addicted to this while anxiously eating chocolate ice cream and drinking coffee.
The instrumental is really something that I would say is really hard to get into. Is really odd, even for a math rock album. It includes a lot of pitched voices and harmonies that make this seem like a ... read more
He... How.
This is the most incredible single song I've heard. It got everything he has made in such a matured, organized way, telling in detail his different experiences, emotions and everything. Everything here is amazing. The instrumental evolves gracefully and blends with the endless acoustic guitar like butter. The lyrics are so detailed, heartfelt and intimate. Phil sounds like he has lived everything he wanted until this point and it just makes me so emotional. Nothing to add. ... read more
This is a digital mess. Is so disjointed and feels like nonsense at first, but is expertly crafted.
Every song feels so hard to get into, is such a hard album to like at first, but it really keeps growing and growing each listen when you just make sense of it. I already gave this thing 4 listens and it's still growing, but it's way too abstract at sorts that it's almost impossible to make sense of it entirely. But then, there's the IDM gem of this year, Sunflower Stems. That song, what a ... read more

WE fucking know you love her, but why would you abort this song for her? This is god awful.
And yes, I listened to the whole thing, is ass.
Highlights: I laughed at how shit all of this was, so that's something.
Shit's so underrated it hurts.
This album is one of a kind, is expertly crafted and varied in sounds, melodies, combinations, beats is unreal. The "Renaissance" vibe this album gets states how this album is being presented: As a new way to see music in some sorts, giving the most nostalgic, charming and classical tunes with a lot of idm, glitch hop, jazz, folk inspirations that works so well.
This album got a lot in common (at least in composition) to Cosmogramma, getting that huge ... read more
This album is so essential, is the peak of plunderphonics, is one of the most magical albums ever made. DJ Shadow really outdid what any hip hop producer could do in such an incredible album.
Highlights: idk about you guys, but Changeling is incredible. Top 20 song of all time for me.
Bruh. This EP is gonna be fire.
Disjointed, apocalyptical, it feels like 2020 in a bottle. I'm so hype rn 👁️👄👁️
This is a really good project, holy shit.
Great produced experimental BANGERS, one after another, no duds, no mediocrity, pure fire.
Highlights: Blue Verb, Nauseous/Devilish, Aspenz, Fake Life, It's Nice To Be Alive.
