An artist convinced me to not only one, but two perfect scores. Just how the fuck is this man that good at making music????
With the concept that it brings up with such a trascendental narrative, the scaled up instrumentals in comparison from The Glow Pt. 2 that accompany this huge instrumental work, the same emotional hook that Phil has always worked with in another writing style out of his comfort zone and such an immaculate mix of everything that is good on music.

Well... I got to give an award for the best produced album I've ever heard, and this is just an obvious answer.
This album got so many flavours in production. From the constant expanding of instruments that 15 Step gives, the space orchestra that Nude presents, the rawness that Bodysnatchers explodes in every way... Dude, is such a pleasure to give this a listen on a really nice pair of headphones (or IEMs, or even better... a stereo HiFi system) abd pick all of the perfectly sounding ... read more
Y'all remember when I said that MPP is like a crazy-ass trip?
this is crazier, waaaaaay crazier, holy shit.
This album got me really unsatisfied at first, but repeated it like 3 times in a row, and I just got it. This is beautiful, the lyrics are otherworldly, the instrumentals are our of this galaxy, these guys are in another dimension.
Highlights: Peacebone, Fireworks, Derek, For Reverend Green, #1.

My mom really liked this album, and she doesn't like a lot of music, that says a lot for me but I enjoy it quite a bit.
Highlights: Spotlight, What's Your Pleasure?, In Your Eyes, Mirage, Remember Where You Are.
Just try to get on acid while looking at the sky and blasting this album without interruptions.
Just do it.
Come on.
You'll not regret it, you'll die and see God as a four-headed horse with a puffy nose and a left eye that can kill you instantly.
Out of jokes, what? This album has given me the weirdest feeling ever. The production is immaculate, the sound is so weird yet amazing, but feels like the wackiest trip you'll ever get, trust me.

Nice grooves, nice ideas, nice work; but it lacks of production quality. It feels unsatisfyingly raw in some cases, making this album to feel relatively unfinished. Is really nice, I can vibe to it, but nothing gets me surprised, sadly.
I'm still triggered that people still compares this to 2012-2017, just, no. Not close, sadly.
Highlights: Time Spent Without U, U, Come Thru For U, I Hope I Sleep Tonight.
Believe me, Sakura is outstanding, an amazingly structured song and great melodies chosen for this song in particular. The other three songs in the rest of the EP felt so underwhelming compared to Sakura, sadly.
If I got to rank each song (I'm doing this in EPs because is feels more significant than doing it on a full-length album, with a built concept and all of that stuff), it would be like this:
•Sakura - 9.3/10
•Sagrada - 6.5/10
•Belverdele - 7/10
•Battery - 6.3/10
Is not HOB, but is amazing as hell.
Amazing production quality, very interesting take on alternative RnB, giving it such an interesting concept and building it with an amazing instrumental, an interesting mix of different genres (synthpop, drum n bass, etc), and Weeknd's voice is gorgeous as always, really liked it.
Maybe not for album of the year material, thought some of the songs were kind of dull, but is a really good quality album.

This is the perfect IDM/Drum and Bass album and no one is going to change my mind at all. Is perfect, that's it. Fight me.
Highlights: I love Defocus more than my life.
HOW THE FUCK DID I MISS THIS MASTERPIECE?!?!!!??!???!!?
Yes, this is maybe one of the most surprising albums I've listened on this decade. I don't have many words for this, just... Is incredible. Outstanding. This is one of the reasons that I love music so much.
Highlights: IT WAS A FOOOOOOOL'S ERRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND
WAITING FOR A SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGN, this song is perfect.
Oh shit. This is what I was expecting from Cenizas to trascend into, and it's so beautiful.
It compliments what worked on his previous album with a masterful ambient/minimal work of electronic music that does everything to form the soundscape it intends: almost a religious, heavenly and mind-expanding set of tracks that connect so perfectly, creates another world and drags you into it. Sooooo hyped for Piedras.
What Nicolas Jaar has put into his music lately seem stellar to me, he does his ... read more
