Yeah this is it. AOTY 2026 so far
(Spoke a bit too soon, still very good though)
I feel up to track 8 the album was very singer-songwriter which wasn't bad, but I felt this was just okay. Track 9-12 everything just picks up and the production is great. Her vocals are great, but she needs to be on tracks with more production on them rather than barebones acoustic tracks. Despite this, I'm looking forward to whatever she releases next
Damn what can I say. I wasn't sure if Damon had it in him again to release a truly great project. This feels like the true successor to Plastic Beach. Definitely have a lot of more processing to do, but I loved this project. There's only a few songs I don't love as much (God Of Lying in particular), but they aren't bad tracks per se. I'll give some additional thoughts later
I consider this a 100, because I view the hardest thing as a prelude to Orange County.
good teaser into the terrified project that comes out later this year.
I've listened to Maruja before, but I didn't pay as much attention as I probably should've. This. This album is fantastic. It's a beacon of hope in a world that feels like it's falling apart. Honestly I don't think I've cried so much while listening to an album before especially on first listen. From the production to the vocals, this is immaculate. I'm giving it 97 for now because before I deem the album to be a 100, I need to give it more listens, but ... read more
I've been listening to this soundtrack on repeat ever since I played the game and I am obsessed.
Just finished my first listen. I think this is an amazing project however I'm left a little conflicted as I didn't know what to really expect after Isaac left the band in 2022.I definitely feel this is a grower and also feels like a band finding it's shoes again. There's some tracks that I feel a bit underwhelming relative to the tracks on AFUT and FTFT but it's hard for me not to compare on the first listen. I'll update this review as I listen to it ... read more
A banger of a track, that chorus is stuck in my head. The music video is amazing too. Personally I prefer Disease more though.
I like it on first listen. I think LISA is the weakest part of this track (I wish her vocals were stronger and the chorus was better) while RAYE and Doja Cat shine. It's a bop though.
I don't really remember what I gave this on release, I'm guessing about 80 something but going back to after a long time, god this is such a classic
